Marlwood School in South Gloucestershire wanted a new school honours board to celebrate the achievements of pupils across their four houses: Berkeley, Holt, Kingsley, and Witton. The aim was to create something that would look smart in the school, fit with the house identity, and provide space for new names each year. We designed, manufactured, and delivered a bespoke wooden board that will be easy for the school to update in future.

House Honours Board Design
The board was produced in light oak faced MDF with a solid oak frame, measuring 1300 × 980mm. It was finished with a natural oak colour to keep a clean, contemporary look. The Marlwood School crest was digitally printed and applied at the top, with each house also given its own crest and section.
Lettering was produced in matt black vinyl, chosen for its sharp contrast against the lighter wood, ensuring names are clear and easy to read. Dividing lines give each house a neat column, while the design allows capacity for up to 192 names across the board.
The board was supplied with brass mirror fixings for secure wall mounting and easy installation by the customer.
Future Updates Made Simple
