University of the West of Scotland - Acrylic Honours Board

For this project, we worked closely with the University of the West of Scotland to produce a large-format acrylic honours board celebrating achievement across a wide range of sports and disciplines. UWS supplied a detailed Excel spreadsheet containing years, names and award categories, and our role was to turn that raw information into a clear, professional honours display that would stand the test of time.
Projects like this are a good example of how we support universities and institutions that need accuracy, consistency and a calm, methodical approach. From managing complex data through to final delivery, we made sure the finished board was easy to read, visually balanced and ready to install as soon as it arrived.

Designing an Honours Board from Structured Data
This acrylic honours board was designed directly from a client-supplied spreadsheet, allowing us to structure the layout around real data rather than forcing the content to fit a pre-set template. Multiple award categories were carefully spaced to keep the board readable, even with a high volume of information.
A black vinyl backing was applied to the rear of the acrylic to give the board depth and contrast, while precision-cut vinyl graphics were applied to the face. This combination gives a crisp, modern finish that works particularly well in university environments, where clean lines and long-term durability are important.
Throughout the design stage, we checked alignment, spacing and hierarchy so that future updates can be added without disrupting the overall look of the board.

Likewise, we sent a full design proof to UWS to check before proceeding to manufacture.
Once complete, the board was carefully packaged and transported to Scotland using secure, protective packaging to ensure it arrived in perfect condition.
