Cornwood Cricket Club wanted a new set of cricket honours boards that would celebrate batting, bowling, and overall club achievements at Oak Park. Cricket clubs across the UK have a proud tradition of recording exceptional performances on wooden boards, ensuring that players’ contributions are remembered for years to come. We worked closely with the club to design and manufacture bespoke honours boards that not only preserve history but also provide space for future generations of cricketers.

Honours Board Design for Cricket
The set included three gable-topped wooden honours boards: Oak Park Batting, Oak Park Bowling, and Club Legends. Each board was manufactured from oak veneered MDF with a solid 44mm oak frame, giving strength and a high-quality finish. The cricket club’s crest was digitally printed, laminated, and precision cut before being applied to the top of each board, ensuring that the club’s identity is proudly displayed.
Lettering was produced using matt black vinyl for maximum legibility, applied in columns with dividing lines to organise dates, names, figures, and opposition details. In line with cricket tradition, the boards record performances such as “5 for 24” in bowling or centuries in batting, alongside the opposition and whether the game was home or away. Each board was designed with sufficient capacity for updates, meaning they can record performances well into the future.
