Worlebury Golf Club, based in Somerset, has a long tradition of recognising members’ achievements through their honours boards. Over time, their original wooden boards had become full and required a new solution. The club wanted to modernise the appearance of their clubhouse while also ensuring that every past winner remained part of their history. To achieve this, we designed and installed a complete suite of acrylic honours boards that combine a contemporary style with the practical benefits of easy maintenance and future updates.

Design & Production
Our design team began by digitally recreating every entry from the club’s existing wooden honours boards. This process ensured that no detail of the club’s history was lost, and that names and dates were carefully aligned for clarity.
The new boards were produced from 8mm clear acrylic, polished around the edges for a high-quality finish. A solid black vinyl was applied to the reverse to create a consistent background, while matt black vinyl lettering was used for all names, headings, and dividing lines.
This black on grey combination was chosen to retain the history of the old wooden boards, while taking advantage of the clean, modern look that acrylic offers. Importantly, acrylic is also low-maintenance, durable, and easy to update, meaning the club can continue recording new achievements for decades to come without the upkeep associated with timber boards.
Installation & Outcome
Our installation team delivered and installed the full set of acrylic honours boards in a single day. This was carefully planned with the club to minimise disruption and ensure the clubhouse was ready to welcome members straight away. Each board was mounted using satin silver stand-off barrel fixings, which not only provide a secure fit but also enhance the overall look with a subtle 3D effect.
The final result is a series of striking acrylic boards that display the complete competitive history of the club in a professional and visually impressive way.
